September Monthly Progress Report
September was an incredible month for Tim's Club, and we’re thrilled to share some exciting updates with you!
Progress on the Land 🌿
Big news – we visited the land with our architect Nelly (lachmanstudio.com) and officially began working on the layout. So exciting! 🎉
As you know, we will be building:
☕️ A warm and welcoming cafe with indoor and outdoor seating
🏡 3 cozy casitas for weekend stays, family holidays & respite
🏊♂️ A fully accessible pool with a ramp for all abilities
🎨 2 multi-purpose rooms for art, music, our day program & community events
🧘♀️ A peaceful wooden outdoor yoga structure
As we go forward with design, the principles most important to us are:
Simple
Fits into local environment & surroundings
Open, inviting atmosphere
Eco-friendly, sustainable
Inclusive for all abilities
Every space & pathway wheelchair accessible
Focus on natural light and ventilation
Calming, sensory-friendly spaces
Natural materials and textures

A Successful BBQ Event ☀️
This month we hosted our complimentary BBQ for local families, and it was a huge success! 🎉
After meeting more families who need our help, we're feeling more determined than ever to bring our vision to life. One family we met really touched our hearts — they have two severely disabled young adults and shared that they receive just $80 every three months in support. It was a powerful reminder of just how many families are struggling to get the help they need.
We know that with Tim's Club, we’re going to be able to make a real difference for families like theirs and many more.
Our next workshop 💻
We’re gearing up for our next workshop happening this Monday!
The topic is How to Infuse More Fun & Creativity Into Your Content, and it’s perfect for anyone looking to bring more life to their content creation.
You won’t want to miss this interactive session designed to spark new ideas and inspire fresh, creative thinking.
What’s Next for Tim's Club 🔨
Our immediate focus is on finalizing the master plan with Nelly. First, we need to obtain a topographic map of the land. This map will help us understand the land’s elevations. Once that is complete, Nelly will move forward with the master plan for the entire property, determining where the best spots are for each structure!
We're also going to go ahead and clear up the land. We're going to host a fun community event for this! Clearing the overgrown areas will allow us to fully visualize the potential of the property and start moving forward with the building phases 🌿
