September Monthly Progress Report

September was another exciting month at Tim’s Club – and one that really showed us what this space can become.

Here’s what happened in September 👇

🐴 A Very Special Equine Therapy Day

We hosted a very special equine-assisted therapy day for individuals with disabilities and their families, with Mario Bros. joining us right here at Tim’s Club.

Participants had the opportunity to interact with Mario, spend time around him, and even enjoy riding him around the property.

It was such a special afternoon and exactly the kind of experience we hope to continue creating at Tim’s Club: opportunities to try something new, build confidence, connect with others, and simply have fun in a welcoming environment.

A huge thank you to Mario and Joan from Pasión Equestrian for making this experience possible. We’re so grateful for the time, care, and energy you put into creating such a memorable day for our community 💛

🌱 Our New Community Garden!

September also brought an incredible new addition to Tim’s Club: four beautiful raised garden beds!

The Rotary Club of Playa Coronado organized a special visit with members of the Rotary Club of Central Cayman Islands, who travelled to Panama and generously donated the four new garden beds. Members from both clubs then came together at Tim’s Club to help us bring the garden to life.

Together, we planted flowers, herbs and vegetables that we’ll be able to care for and eventually use as part of our future cafe and programming.

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Playa Coronado and the Rotary Club of Central Cayman Islands for your generosity and for believing in what we’re building.

And a special thank you to Maudy, who designed the garden and brought so much thought and care to the project. 🌱💛

🧘‍♀️ Another Weekly Class!

Our weekly class schedule grew again in September!

We’re so happy to welcome Chelsea, who is now leading a Vinyasa yoga class every Wednesday from 9–10am.

Her very first class was a wonderful success, and we’re excited to now have even more opportunities for our local community to come together at Tim’s Club each week.

Chelsea joins Lauchlin, who teaches yoga on Fridays, and Adrian, who leads Tai Chi, Qi Gong and breathwork.

And remember: your first class is free!

Every person who joins one of our community classes is also helping Tim’s Club grow. Proceeds from these classes help us create programs for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities.

🎯 Our Focus for October

Behind the scenes, we spent September developing a new payment and donation system for Tim’s Club to make it easier to donate, attend classes, and support our work as we grow. In October, we’ll be making the full transition to this new system.

We’ll also continue focusing on growing our weekly community classes and welcoming more people into the space each week.

And we have some particularly exciting visitors coming to Tim’s Club!

We’ll be welcoming visitors from Panama City who are already doing important work in disability rights and inclusion across Panama.

They’ll be visiting Tim’s Club for the first time, and we’re really looking forward to showing them what we’ve built and exploring ways we can work together in the future.

It feels like another exciting step in connecting Tim’s Club with the disability community here in Panama – and we can’t wait to tell you more next month. 💛

💛 Thank You

Little by little, Tim’s Club is becoming the active, welcoming community space we always hoped it would be.

Thank you to everyone who continues to be part of it.

We can’t wait to show you what October brings!

With gratitude,
