Tim’s Club respects your privacy. We collect only the personal information we need to accept donations, communicate with our supporters, and operate our website and programs. We never sell your personal information.
Tim’s Club (RUC 25057889-3-2024) is a nonprofit organization based in Nueva Gorgona, Panama. We are creating an inclusive community space where individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities can learn, connect, participate in activities, and access opportunities for employment.
This Privacy Policy applies to our website, donation pages, newsletter, and other online services.
Information we collect
When you make a donation, we may collect your name, email address, donation amount and date, whether your donation is one-time or monthly, and limited information about your payment method.
We do not see or store your full credit or debit card number, expiry date, or security code. Payment information is entered directly through our payment provider.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your name and email address.
If you contact us by email, through our website, or by message, we may keep your contact information and message so we can respond.
Our websites and service providers may also collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
How we use your information
We may use your information to:
Process and manage your donations.
Send donation confirmations, thank-you emails, receipts, and important payment updates.
Manage monthly donations and allow you to update or cancel your donation.
Send newsletters and updates if you have chosen to receive them.
Respond to questions and messages.
Maintain financial and administrative records.
Protect our websites and donation systems from fraud or misuse.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.
Services we use
We use trusted service providers to help us operate Tim’s Club, including services for payment processing, website hosting, email, and donor communications.
These currently include Wompi, Cloudflare, Systeme.io, Google Workspace, Squarespace, and Fundraise Up.
We share only the information needed for these services to perform their functions. Some providers may process or store information outside Panama.
We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law.
Emails and newsletters
We send newsletters and general updates only if you have chosen to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in our emails or by contacting us.
If you make a donation, we may still send you emails directly related to your donation, such as confirmations, thank-you messages, receipts, or payment updates. These are separate from our newsletter.
How long we keep your information
We keep donation and financial records for as long as required by applicable accounting, tax, and legal requirements in Panama.
Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to any information we are legally required to retain.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. Our donation pages use secure connections, payment information is handled by our payment provider, and access to donor information is limited to those who need it.
Your rights
Under Panama’s personal data protection laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, oppose certain uses of, or request a copy of your personal information, subject to applicable legal requirements.
